I am pleased to present the first ever Belly Casting and Photography Sessions! These exclusive sessions are a whole new way to document one of the most fascinating chapters of your life, and my studio is currently the first to offer these sessions in the area (the US?). You not only have a cast made of your belly, but the entire process is captured on camera, from beginning to end. Twenty images from the casting process are then included in a custom coffee table book so you can share your experience with friends and family and relive the memories of how beautiful and creative you felt on this day in your life.
The process is simple, usually taking 45 minutes to an hour, and during this time you may stand or gently sit on our comfortable chaise. No worries about having to pose for the camera, as I document the process as unobtrusively as possible. Soft robes, relaxing music, and calming tea are all available to ease your mind and body. Think of it as a spa experience for your belly and mind!
The end result is a molded cast that can be artistically painted or decorated by you, our friendly belly caster, or a commissioned painter of your choice. It can also be hung on the wall, used as an artistic bowl, and hung in the baby’s nursery as a reminder of how small they once were. Bring the cast to your newborn session and have your baby photographed in it (these images may be included in your coffee table book at no additional charge). All belly casting sessions are performed by our friendly expert belly caster who has experience working with all sizes of expecting bellies.
